Elephants beneath Kilimanjaro
Spend a full day on safari around the wetlands and plains. Elephants are a central focus. Kilimanjaro is only visible when cloud conditions allow. Overnight in the Amboseli area.

Amboseli to Tsavo West
Into southern Kenya wilderness
Travel roughly 100 to 170 kilometres towards Tsavo West, allowing four to six hours on slow sections and park roads. The exact route is chosen for current conditions and your base. Keep the afternoon flexible. Overnight in the Tsavo West area.

Tsavo West
Different habitats, a full safari day
Explore Tsavo West with your guide. Mzima Springs can be considered if it fits your base and current access. Leave time for game drives rather than trying to visit every corner of this large park. Overnight in the Tsavo West area.
Day 6Tsavo West to Tsavo East
Across to the red earth of Tsavo East
Allow four to six hours for roughly 120 to 200 kilometres between your chosen bases, including park exit and entry. A short wildlife drive may be part of reaching your destination, not an additional full safari day. Overnight in the Tsavo East area.

Tsavo East
Elephants and broad horizons
A full safari day explores accessible parts of Tsavo East, known for elephants and expansive landscapes. Your guide chooses a sensible route for wildlife movements and road conditions. Overnight in the Tsavo East area.

A road journey to the coast
Drive approximately 220 to 300 kilometres to Diani, allowing five to seven hours with park exit, stops and coastal traffic. Arrive and settle in rather than planning a fixed excursion. Overnight in Diani.

Enjoy a full day in Diani, with no fixed excursion programme. Snorkelling, diving or a local outing can be discussed separately, subject to tides, weather, operator availability and your experience. Overnight in Diani.

Arrange your departure transfer around the confirmed flight. Ukunda is close to Diani. For Mombasa airport allow roughly two to three hours by road, sometimes longer with traffic. A domestic connection to Nairobi may require an airport transfer and generous time before an international flight.
