With a background in African Development from the London School of Economics, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex dynamics between tourism, local economies, and environmental sustainability. My studies sparked a lasting interest in how travel can serve as a tool for inclusive growth and cultural exchange, particularly in emerging markets like Kenya.
Over the past several years, I have been actively involved in the Kenyan hospitality sector. I began by managing the Jungle Oasis, one of Nairobi’s most beloved Airbnb stays, known for its high ratings, attention to detail, and warm, personalized guest experience.
Building on that foundation, I launched Fernweh Safaris with a clear mission: To offer custom travel experiences across Kenya that not only delight visitors but also contribute positively to the people and places they touch. Every itinerary is thoughtfully designed to support local initiatives, promote conservation efforts, and celebrate Kenya’s diversity.
