Fly into the safari landscape
Transfer to Wilson Airport and take a proposed domestic flight to a Mara airstrip. Flights typically take about 45 to 90 minutes, sometimes with intermediate stops. Allow airport time and the onward safari vehicle transfer. Seats and schedules must be confirmed. Overnight in the Mara region.

Day 3
Maasai Mara
A full safari day
Explore the reserve at a pace shaped by wildlife and your interests. Lions, elephants and other members of the Big Five are possible sightings, not a checklist we can guarantee. Overnight in the Mara region.
Day 4Maasai Mara
Follow the wildlife, not the clock
A second full day leaves room for different parts of the reserve and unhurried wildlife photography. A balloon safari can be considered separately, subject to weather and arrangements. Overnight in the Mara region.
Day 5Maasai Mara to Diani Beach
From the bush to the ocean
Plan a domestic flight to Ukunda, either on an available coastal service or via Wilson Airport. Direct services may take around two hours with stops. Via Nairobi, allow most of the day including connections, transfers and check in. No beach excursion is planned today. Flights are subject to schedule and seat confirmation. Overnight in Diani.

Slow down by the ocean
Enjoy a full day in Diani, with no fixed excursion programme. Snorkelling, diving or a local outing can be discussed separately, subject to tides, weather, operator availability and your experience. Overnight in Diani.

Arrange your departure transfer around the confirmed flight. Ukunda is close to Diani. For Mombasa airport allow roughly two to three hours by road, sometimes longer with traffic. A domestic connection to Nairobi may require an airport transfer and generous time before an international flight.
